The new Patient Course is a system that actually worked to increase referrals. About three months after we took the course, our main referral source left. Then the largest orthopedic group in town opened up nearby. Our numbers never went down. They just kept on going up, even with those two events occurring at the same time. This wiped out 60 to 65% of our referral sources, but because of having implemented the New Patient Course, our Patient Visits never went down - they were consistently up.
